Job description

A medical facility in Kentucky is seeking a skilled radiologist for a locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers a chance to work in an inpatient setting with a supportive team and flexible scheduling. Below are the details :

Position Highlights

Start Date : January 6, 2025
End Date : July 31, 2025
Schedule :

Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

On-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time

Setting : Inpatient with telehealth components

Patients Per Shift : TBD

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of radiology services including :

CT, MRI, general radiology, ultrasound, and interventional procedures

Mammography (including interventional breast procedures)

Advanced diagnostic imaging, including nuclear medicine and PET scans

No admissions or outpatient services required

Facility and Support

295-bed inpatient facility

Temporary hospital privileges available for quick onboarding

Full EMR system (MediTech) in place

Support staff includes one RN, with no additional supervisory requirements

Qualifications

Board Certification : Required in Radiology

Licensure : Must hold a Kentucky license or qualify through IMLC

Certifications : ABLS

Additional Details

Estimated credentialing timeframe : 45 days

Travel and lodging reimbursement available

The facility observes major holidays including Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Christmas
