Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Assignment Location : Farmington, Connecticut (06032) – Hartford area Healthcare Setting : Operating Room Unit Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Job Start Date : November 24, 2025 End Date : February 19, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Hours per Week : 40 Nursing Shift : 10-hour rotating shifts (start times : 7am, 9 : 30am, 11am, 1pm) On Call : Minimum one weekend per month (30-minute report time) Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,680 - $2,870 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications 4-5 years of Operating Room RN experience (or combined OR experience) Active Registered Nurse license (Connecticut RN license required; must apply within 24 hours of offer) BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred) NIH Stroke Scale certification Proven experience circulating independently in complex neuro, spine, and orthopedic surgeries DaVinci robotic surgery skills strongly preferred Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and mandatory overtime COVID-19 and Flu vaccine required (medical and religious declinations accepted) Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities Circulate in a variety of complex surgical procedures, including neuro, spine, and orthopedic cases Demonstrate proficiency with DaVinci robotic surgeries Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols Participate in on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes as required Float to other hospital units within clinical competence as needed Contribute to a positive, patient-centered healthcare environment Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Farmington, Connecticut!
