The Business Unit Controller plays a critical role in driving financial performance across the supply chain. Partnering closely with Procurement, Transportation, and cross-functional teams , this role ensures accurate reporting, robust financial controls, and actionable analysis that improves efficiency and profitability. You'll be at the intersection of finance and supply chain strategy-translating data into insights that support long-term growth in the food manufacturing industry.

What You'll Do

Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the business unit.

Partner with Transportation, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to evaluate cost structures, business decisions, and capital investments.

Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior-year results to identify risks and opportunities.

Translate cost-to-serve results into standard costing.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.

Lead the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required); MBA preferred.

7-10 years of finance or accounting experience with strong GAAP and cost accounting background.

Proven success in manufacturing finance , ideally with exposure to logistics, procurement, or supply chain cost management .

Advanced skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and performance monitoring to drive operational efficiency.

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP / accounting systems.

Ability to partner with cross-functional leaders to align financial decisions with supply chain strategies.

CPA certification preferred.
