Overview
Job Title : Workload Automation Engineer
Location : Local to Richmond, VA only please. This is a hybrid position with 3 days / week onsite and a 6-month contract position.
Description : The client is looking for a batch jobs operations expert programmer to conduct thorough analysis of existing job schedules, Tivoli dependencies and configurations.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support for monitoring and troubleshooting job failures and performance issues.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement changes and enhancements to job schedules.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures for job scheduling and monitoring.
- Perform periodic reviews and support audits to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Leverage experience in DevOps, CI / CD and infrastructure automation including automated pipelines, monitoring and operations.
- Provide on-call support for critical issues and incidents as needed.
- A junior level developer with prior experience to work with the online team to assist in migrating eForms and WebUpload applications to Angular and Spring Boot technology.
