Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Unit Specifics :

Number of Beds : 36

Patient Ratios : 1 : 5 / 6

Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 4 South has 2 stations and uses 2 unit secretaries 0600-2200 daily. We utilize patient care techs at all times, the amount and ratio fluctuates depending on census.

Type of equipment : Telemetry for each room with monitors in the stations, Dynamaps for vital signs, glucometers, iMobile phones, bladder scanner

Documentation system : Meditech

Scheduling requirements : 12 hour shifts (7-7), every other weekend, holidays required as well.

Floating policy : All nurses float to other units as needed.

Patient Experience requirements : Hourly rounding, bedside shift report, My Care Boards, AIDET
