Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Analyst to join the Optic, Payments / Credit, and DEX technology teams.

This role is responsible for supporting the setup, installation, and monitoring of payment terminals and related hardware / software systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in POS systems and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct field personnel in the installation of new payment terminal equipment and related hardware / software.
  • Provide accurate verbal instructions for diagnostics and installations.
  • Configure and upgrade software on newly installed devices.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact operations.
  • Manage multiple support tickets, prioritizing based on urgency and impact.
  • Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with POS systems.
  • Experience supporting POS systems including Site Server, Credit Server, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with fuel controllers, pumps, and CRINDs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across business units.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience maintaining and enhancing POS systems.
  • Familiarity with POS data and functions such as items, barcodes, sales, voids, promotions, discounts, and payment methods.
  • Experience testing new hardware / software and recommending improvements.
  • Advanced support experience for escalated hardware / software issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High motivation, urgency, and a passion for quality control.
  • Effective team collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical Knowledge Required

  • Experience with POS systems.
  • Experience with Gilbarco / Wayne Pumps and CRINDs.
  • Education : Bachelors Degree
