Overview : The Patient Access Team Lead position plays a key role in
the health system and in providing excellent customer service while
ensuring timely throughput and capturing all necessary data timely.
Qualifications : Required : High School Diploma or equivalent
required Minimum 2 years of Patient Access, ED registration, or
healthcare revenue cycle experience Preferred : Prior experience in
a lead, senior, or mentoring role Knowledge of third party
admissions and registration requirements General understanding of
medical terminology and procedures Scheduling Requirements : Full
Time - Evening Essential Functions : The Patient Access Team Lead is
responsible to greet all patients in a timely and friendly manner A
core function of this position is to ensure that all customers,
external and internal are treated with the highest level of respect
The Patient Access Team Lead is to provide a safe and secure
environment for the patient during the registration process The
Patient Access Team Lead must clearly review and communicate all
forms and obtain required signatures for services provided The
Patient Access Team Lead ensures accuracy and thoroughness in
collecting the patient data, documentation of data and utilizes the
technology available to complete the registration The Patient
Access Team Lead participates in creating a positive environment
for patient and colleague satisfaction The Patient Access Team Lead
is a working registrar with added responsibilities of training
employees, completing analysis of data pertaining to Key
Performance Indicators, assists with developing department
schedules and works closely with the Patient Access Supervisor to
