Senior Auditor

Overview

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior Auditor to assist district legal staff by conducting medical claims data analysis, forensic investigations, financial damages calculations, statistical sampling, and ability-to-pay analyses. These analyses support determinations in investigations, prosecutions, settlements, and recovery, often involving large and complex data sets.

Base pay range : $80,000.00 / yr - $150,000.00 / yr. Employment type : Full Time, Mid-level. Department : Financial Services. Location : San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex personal and business financial records to identify payments and kickbacks, trace money flows, identify assets, track sources and uses of cash, and quantify damages.
• Analyze and calculate ability-to-pay settlements and judgments, including debt covenants, borrowing capacity, adjusted earnings and earnings per share, financial ratios, accounts receivable and accounts payable, aging schedules, and tax considerations; assess collectability and develop payment terms and schedules.
• Identify, quantify, and understand related party transactions.
• Analyze healthcare claims and other data.
• Create financial damage models for use in litigation.
• Conduct asset valuation and records reconstruction.
• Develop computerized models to assist in presenting financial evidence.
• Report on financial data and evidence and communicate findings to attorneys and investigators.
• Review defense presentations, expert reports, and arguments; work with independent experts; prepare expert reports for litigation.
• Participate in negotiations as requested; testify as required; perform training and give presentations on data analysis tools and experience.
