Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Contract Length : 13-week travel nursing contract

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,950 - $2,090 per week

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in New Jersey

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification – Required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification – Required

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

ICU RN Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for diverse populations, including pediatric and geriatric patients

Deliver direct patient care and demonstrate advanced clinical skills in a high-acuity, critical care environment

Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress, and education in compliance with hospital standards

Uphold professionalism and adhere to hospital policies and procedures

Promote patient and family satisfaction through compassionate and effective communication

Ensure patient safety by following National Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocols

Individualize care for surgical patients, including pre-operative and post-operative assessments and education

Support the perioperative team by prioritizing and directing patient care based on evolving needs

Assist with Pre Admission Testing (PAT) and ensure timely completion of required patient testing
