Per Diem Hospitalist Opening - Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck, NY. Northern Dutchess Hospital of Nuvance Health, proudly joining Northwell, is seeking a per diem hospitalist to join its busy and growing program. The ideal candidate will be BC / BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with Hospitalist experience.

About Northern Dutchess Hospital and Location

Northern Dutchess Hospital (NDH) is a 68-bed acute care not-for-profit community hospital. NDH has an excellent medical staff, exceptional anesthesia, and 24 / 7 hospitalist coverage. The hospital has recently renovated operating rooms, a brand new, top-rated emergency department, and fully modernized patient care areas. Northern Dutchess is part of Nuvance Health, a seven hospital system and multi-specialty practice including Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Rhinebeck is part of one of the largest historic districts in the United States located along the scenic Hudson River. Rhinebeck offers New York City culture in a friendly, small town setting with restaurants, cafes, boutique shops, and events at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. Outdoor enthusiasts will find skiing, hiking, biking, fishing and boating nearby. New York City is easily accessible via Amtrak.

The Hudson Valley offers a high quality of life with access to outdoor activities, culture, arts, and education. Nearby colleges and universities include Vassar College, Bard College, Marist College, SUNY New Paltz, and the Culinary Institute of America.
