Registered Nurse, Medical ICU (36-40 Hours) - 10K Sign On

The Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Boston Children's Hospital is a 22-bed facility dedicated to the care of children with a wide range of critical illness diagnoses including respiratory failure (severe breathing problems), sepsis (serious infection), nutritional failure, poisoning, congenital anomalies, and life-threatening complications of metabolic diseases and endocrine disorders.

Key Responsibilities :

• Caring for patients with respiratory insufficiency and / or failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, asthma, heart failure, sepsis, metabolic crisis, and those experiencing medically fragile / technology dependent co-morbidities.
• Providing care to medical patients with life-threatening and / or potentially life threatening conditions across the age continuum.
• Working in a collaborative environment with opportunities for both learning and career growth.
• Practicing family centered care in an ICU environment.
• 40 hours / week, rotating days / nights and every third weekend.
• Start date for this position is April 2026

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
