Facility :

This facility is a Level 2 trauma center with primary stroke certification. The hospital supports a Family Medicine residency program and provides teaching opportunities with 3rd and 4th-year medical students. With 15 beds in the department and approximately 450 deliveries per year, the facility offers a balanced clinical experience in a supportive environment.

Opportunity : Certified - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details :

• Coverage dates available from December 2025 onward on a rotating schedule
• 24-hour call coverage, all-inclusive
• Must respond to ED and L&D within 10 minutes
• Average of 8 calls per day (approximately 55 per week)
• Approximately 4.3 patient encounters per day
• Active Michigan license required (no IMLC)
• Board certification or board eligible status required
• Arrival within 30 minutes of initial contact for emergency conditions
• Participation in teaching with Family Medicine residents and medical students
• Skills preferred : low and high-risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, routine and complicated deliveries, C-sections, gynecological procedures
• Conscious sedation module completion required if requesting those privileges (available free at facility)

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
