Senior Accountant

Job Summary

My client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting professional to manage revenue for large customer accounts, oversee billing and collections, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role involves working closely with internal teams and air customers to resolve issues, improve processes, and support compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with month-end and year-end close, journal entries, and financial statements.

Manage accounts receivable : invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and cash applications.

Monitor customer balances, address delinquent accounts, and resolve billing disputes.

Prepare financial reports, customer statements, and account reconciliations.

Conduct analysis on receivables, collections, and trends to support management decisions.

Support system upgrades, audits, and continuous process improvements.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience in transactional accounting, billing, or accounts receivable operations.

Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred

CPA (certified or in progress).

Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation or audit experience.

Contract review and financial analysis experience.
