What You'll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs ariseResponsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.Collaborate with local authorities and Allied Universal management as needed during incidents or emergencies.Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related observations.Assist visitors and employees with questions or directions while maintaining a professional presence.Adhere to all site-specific protocols and Allied Universal policies while on duty.What We're Looking For

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.Be at least 21 years of age.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.Be able to lift more than 20 pounds.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us
