About The Position

Job Title : RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care

Profession : RN

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum experience in direct patient care preferred

License : RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Description :

The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers.

They ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized high-quality, safe patient care.

They practice in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and supported through a Shared Governance Model.

The framework for practice is steered by a Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practice and research.

RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by established values.

All RN Clinical Nurses Critical Care are expected to be licensed and knowledgeable.

They uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Professional Nurse Practice Act.

They implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards provided by the American Nurses Association.

As a member of the patient services team, the individual is expected to uphold the voice of the patient.

They must adhere to system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals.
