Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in California requiring a CA RN license and strong ED background.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
  • Night shifts with a 3x12 hour schedule, 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • Every other weekend is required
  • No on-call or floating is required
  • Epic charting experience is preferred
  • Responsible for direct patient care, patient and family education, and care coordination within the Emergency Department
  • Must be able to go for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
  • Return staff must have been gone at least 1 year to be eligible
  • Only one holiday off will be approved during the contract
  • Modules will be completed through e-learning as part of orientation
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel assignment
  • Local candidates are accepted at a local rate

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department nursing experience required
  • Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required and must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
