Buyer Position At Teal Drones

Teal Drones, a subsidiary of Red Cat Holdings, is seeking a full-time Buyer. Teal is a growing technology company focused on creating solutions for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS drones) for defense, public safety, and government security. The Buyer will support supplier management and procurement activities, focusing on purchase orders, tracking, and supplier relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Create and process purchase orders and order amendments.
Monitor open orders and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
Expedite critical orders and resolve delivery issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to support evolving project needs.
Track and report order status and progress.
Communicate with internal stakeholders to confirm specifications.
Support suppliers in resolving delivery, quality, or documentation issues.
Identify and escalate potential risks or delays.
Assist with procurement documentation and reporting.

Required Qualifications :

3-4 years of purchasing, supply chain, or administrative experience.

Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Effective communication skills.

Problem-solving mindset.

Additional Desired Qualifications :

Previous experience in electronics.

Experience with SAP Business One.

Knowledge of supply chain, software, and purchasing / accounting processes.

Ability to review and interpret mechanical drawings and datasheets.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :

Ability to sit for extended periods.

Capacity to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.

Ability to move around office or warehouse environments.

Visual acuity to read documents and electronic screens.

Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments.
