Associate Manufacturing Engineer

Join to apply for the Associate Manufacturing Engineer role at Zachary Piper Solutions to build low Earth orbit satellites delivering direct-to-device 5G connectivity. The position is located in Midland, Texas and requires shift work on a rotational basis from 4 PM – 1 AM.

Responsibilities

• Assess new product concepts and designs for manufacturability and provide recommendations to R&D / Product Engineering.
• Develop methods and processes to manufacture new products safely, at desired quality standards, and at lowest cost to meet projected demand in a timely manner.
• Conduct detailed process design, including layouts, tooling, fixturing, programming, testing, and documentation.
• Continuously improve current production methods using Six-Sigma methodologies and knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.

Compensation

Salary range : $70,000–$85,000 depending on experience.
