General Purpose :

In order to ensure quality dental services, the Dental Hygienist assists the Dentist in providing dental care to patients.

Essential Duties / Position Responsibilities :

• Provides dental care to patients.
• Assesses patients' general dental condition and care needs.
• Conducts oral cancer screening exams and x-rays.
• Offers practical suggestions to patients to ensure proper oral hygiene.
• Performs routine oral hygiene maintenance procedures and applications for damage prevention.
• Works with dental staff to sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Collaborates with dental staff to evaluate patient medical chart information as it relates to dental.
• Documents updated patient data on EMR system related to dental procedures.
• Enters patient health data into the electronic medical records system (EMR) database.

Tools you'll use

General dental instruments and equipment, x-ray technology, computer, printer, multi-line telephone systems, fax machine, copy machine, and all Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel and the internet.

Working Environment and Physical Activities :

Office environment within a clinical setting. Enters data into computer programs via use of EMR database system, mouse and keyboard. Moves about the office environment and occasionally to other locations. Moves / transports objects up to 25 lbs occasionally. Communicates information to others. Discerns / analyzes information from others to assist in decision making.

Work Schedule

Tuesday - Friday, 7 : 30am - 5 : 30pm (10-hour shift schedule) - Hours and time may change based on business needs.

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,928 - $100,000 depending on your experience.

This range reflects STRIDE's good faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting. The final salary for the selected candidate will be determined based on several factors, including experience, education, budget, internal equity, specialty, and training.
