Job Profile Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Operator to join our high-performing team. This role requires a strong background in pipeline operations, specifically within gas and / or liquids systems, and a proven ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, performing advanced-level tasks and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations across our pipeline infrastructure. The preferred candidate will reside in or near the Godley / Cresson area to support timely response and operational coverage. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Perform and / or coordinate, diagnoses and troubleshoots complex pipeline operations and maintenance activities on systems including compressor stations, gas storages, dehydration facilities, pumping facilities, measurement facilities, and related equipment which may include, but is not limited to :

• Startup and shutdown
• Pigging
• Collecting liquids
• Changing charts
• Gauging tanks
• Locating and marking lines
• Monitoring cathodic protection / basic pipe coatings
• Leakage survey / patrolling pipelines
• Blowing drips
• Perform, dispatch, and / or train on line locates
• Construction watch and / or oversee construction activities
• Station checks and maintenance
• Landowner and Home owner interactions
• Oversee erosion work
• Flaring activities
• Assisting Maintenance team in various tasks, seal swaps and DOT's

Monitor usage and / or replace lubricants, fluids, inhibitors, chemicals, etc., as needed to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment

Exchange information regarding pipeline operations, maintenance, measurement, and other activities with public / governmental officials, employees, contractors, customers, producers, and landowners

Establishes calculations, compile and / or prepare information and report, assisting others on matters including but not limited to :

Drive and ensure maintenance is completed on assigned company vehicles

May coordinate / have oversight of employees engaged in pipeline operations, maintenance, and other activities

Anticipate changes in work demands and identify assignments or training to meet those demands

Recommend new processes and formulate new ideas; take lead role to execute implementation of new processes

Determine materials required for operations and prepare appropriate purchase requisitions

Ensure compliance with company policies related to OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements, preparing appropriate documentation

React immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury to self and others

Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.
