About The Position

Must-Have : At least 2 years of experience in radiology

Description :

The position requires proficiency in general radiology.

Duties include performing various imaging studies such as brain, MRCP, ABD, pelvis, and extremities.

The department operates with two scanners / rooms.

Technicians may be floated as needed to nearby facilities.

On average, a technician will perform about 100 scans / studies daily.

Experience with EMR and PACS systems, specifically Radnet and Merge Unity, is essential.

The department uses equipment from GE and Toshiba.

A lead technician or radiology supervisor oversees the radiology team.

No registered radiology assistants are utilized in the department.

Radiologists are present in-house.

Starting IVs is not a requirement for this position.

Weekend work requirements include every other weekend.

Holidays require coverage of one major and one minor holiday.

A rotating call schedule is in place with a response time of 30 minutes.

Scrub color is teal, and scrubs are provided.

A department-specific orientation will be conducted by the lead technician.

The hospital reserves the right to cancel shifts per established policies.

Charting is performed using the Cerner system.
