Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol Part-Time

Monday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM
Sunday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding as appropriate to emergencies.Carry out regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help deter potential incidents.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgement while armed as required by the post.Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any suspicious activity or unusual circumstances to Allied Universal management and / or appropriate authorities.Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information and guidance, while upholding established security-related protocols.Document incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client site policies.What We're Looking For :

Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification.Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.Possess a state, county, or city issued security-related license, which is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
