If so, the Student Assistant position is the role for you.

Our Student Assistants play a key role in the success of our office. They serve as the first point of contact for office visitors including students, alumni, faculty, and staff. In this role you will collaborate with a team to accomplish various projects and tasks such as supporting the First-Year Student Success Hub front desk, and monitoring study tables for some of our students.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Student Assistant, you will :

• Support the day to day operations of the First-Year Student Success Hub.
• Schedule appointments for students using department scheduling systems.
• Greet students and other visitors at our front desk.
• Hone your customer service skills by answering various questions and making referrals.
• Monitor study table area for our Pathfinder students.
• Strengthen your Microsoft Office skills by managing schedules, responding to emails, entering data, and more.
• Provides clerical support as needed to the Advising Team and Administrative Staff.
• Make new connections with various campus partners.
