Maintenance Supervisor (Houston)

The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of skilled mechanics and technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable facility and equipment performance. This position oversees daily maintenance operations, preventive programs, and repairs in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assign and monitor work orders, ensuring completion within time and budget constraints.
• Manage department priorities, resource allocation, and daily workflow.
• Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance personnel; promote a culture of safety and accountability.
• Utilize CMMS software to track maintenance work, inventory, and equipment history.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve equipment issues and prevent downtime.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
• Oversee contractors and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Support capital projects by identifying equipment needs and coordinating installations.
