About the Role

This is a unique contracting opportunity for a dynamic Hybrid Product Owner & System Tester to join a forward-thinking Wealth Management group. The successful candidate will play a critical role in both leading product delivery and ensuring robust testing across a diverse portfolio of applications and initiatives. You will help drive key projects, support strategic planning, and ensuring high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Owner

• Manage an Agile delivery team responsible for approximately 10 low touch applications / components within the Wealth Management ecosystem.
• Lead the In House Investment Policy Statement (IPS) initiative from an Information Systems (IS) perspective, including BLT 2026 initiative submission.
• Plan and conduct agile ceremonies, such as backlog grooming / refinement and daily standups (DSU), ensuring effective team collaboration and delivery momentum.
• Facilitate and drive discovery sessions in support of prioritized work for 2026, including the in-house IPS build.
• Organize and lead discovery sessions across a broader set of applications to uncover opportunities for strategic enhancements and identify potential business cases for 2027 planning.
• Identify dependencies on third parties-both internal and external-and coordinate prioritization or intake submission. For external vendors, partner with WF relationship vendor for engagement and notify L2 regarding vendor needs and associated costs.
• Assess and identify risks related to ongoing initiatives or day-to-day production activities, proposing actionable solutions to mitigate these risks. Collaborate with L2 for escalation and additional support where necessary.
• Manage and prioritize the backlog for both current / upcoming strategic and TCI initiatives. Where resourcing conflicts arise, propose solutions to mitigate timeline risks and escalate to L2 as needed.
