Collection Representative

Legacy Community Federal Credit Union is looking for the right candidate to join our Collections team as a full time Collection Representative.

For our Collection Representative role, we are looking for someone to help us preserve Legacy's assets by controlling delinquent loan accounts, overdrawn checking accounts and / or past due credit card accounts.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities :

• Contacts delinquent accounts by phone and mail, takes appropriate action to bring current.
• Analyzes financial situation of delinquent borrowers, makes recommendations to repossess collateral when other arrangements are not successful.
• Maintains accurate documentation and reports on all collections activity.

Experience : One to three years of similar or related experience.

Education : High school education or GED
