Salary : $180,000 - $220,000 per year

A bit about us :

An established and growing multifamily builder and owner construction company is looking to add a CFO to their growing company. This is a new position due to growth. The ideal candidate will have deep experience working for a construction GC or real estate development on projects in the $50M-$100M range, and be well‑versed in construction and project accounting, change orders, and lien waivers at the CFO or Senior VP level.

Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Permanent CFO for our rapidly growing construction company. The ideal candidate will oversee the financial operations, strategy, and growth of our company. This role involves managing financial risks, planning, record‑keeping, and reporting to senior management, as well as managing audits, maintaining relations with partners and investors, and driving the company's financial strategy and planning. You will direct budgeting, reporting, and auditing activities.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement financial strategies for the business, aligning with the company’s objectives.
• Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
• Coordinate, analyze, and report financial performance to management and the Board of Directors.
• Prepare short‑ and long‑term financial forecasts for internal and external use.
• Oversee audit and tax functions; coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firm performance.
• Develop and maintain accounting and administrative policies for financial reporting, employee relations, and other corporate policies.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC rules, and Sarbanes‑Oxley regulations.
• Manage corporate and HR activities, including employee benefits, retirement plans, corporate insurance, and related activities across all satellite offices.
• Motivate staff to produce high‑quality work within tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
