Front of House (FOH) Manager

Salary : Starting at $75K (DOE)

Location : Brea, CA

Job Description :

Old Brea Chop House is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House (FOH) Manager to lead our service team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. As we expand with new locations both locally and in Palm Desert, we are looking for passionate hospitality professionals open to relocation opportunities.

This role requires a hands-on leader with strong hospitality skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team. The FOH Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining service standards, and driving guest satisfaction while upholding the restaurant's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all Front of House operations, ensuring smooth service flow and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Lead, train, and develop FOH staff to maintain high performance and hospitality standards.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations to optimize team efficiency.
  • Maintain a strong floor presence, engaging with guests and handling service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between FOH and BOH operations.
  • Monitor sales, labor costs, and beverage inventory to maximize profitability.
  • Implement and maintain high service and cleanliness standards in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, special events, and promotional programs to drive guest engagement.
  • Handle guest feedback, resolve concerns, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding alcohol service and food safety.

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience as a FOH Manager, Assistant General Manager, or similar role in a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with a passion for hospitality.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in cost control, labor management, and beverage operations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to relocate for opportunities in Palm Desert
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
