About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : 1st Days - Every other or every 3rd weekend based on needs

Hours per Shift : 36.00

Experience : Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of diverse patient populations is required.

License : Current state Registered Nurse License or a multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact.

Certifications : American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an approved equivalent is required.

Must-Have :

Associate's degree in nursing is required.

Ability to adapt to change and understand the importance of providing excellent patient care is essential.

Description :

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.

This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population.

Experience with telemetry, NIH Stroke Scale, and post-operative surgical procedures is recommended.

The Extended Recovery unit is expanding its census and is looking for nurses who can successfully manage a mix of patient populations.

This includes post-operative patients, observation patients, inpatient hospital patients, and potentially emergency department boarders.

The ability to provide care in a changing environment is crucial for success in this role.

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice is necessary to fulfill the responsibilities associated with this position.
