The Department of Civil Engineering in the College of Engineering, at the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Research-APT.In accordance with USCIS regulations, successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conducting research activities under the supervision of Dr. Warda Ashraf. Required Qualifications PhD in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. Preferred Qualifications Research experience with alternative cement chemistry and / or additive manufacturing. In addition, the department works with many top civil engineering firms in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the Texas Department of Transportation, the Texas General Land Office, NOAA and other government agencies.
