The (Desktop) Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of desktop systems, and resolving hardware and software issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users for desktop systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Assist with the setup and deployment of new desktop systems and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on desktop systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to address and resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, configurations, and procedures.
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including setting up and decommissioning desktop systems.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on the proper use of desktop systems and software.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to IT and data security.
- Provide AV support for training and conference rooms, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment.
- Manage and track IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory and proper asset lifecycle management.

Required
2-3 years related experience.Proven experience as a Desktop Technician or in a similar technical support role.Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.Familiarity with desktop hardware components and peripherals.Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
