This is a full-time, permanent position withtotal compensation including the full state employee benefits package, which includes family health insurance with no monthly premium cost to you, as well as a generous retirement, paid holidays,vacation and sick leave that begins to accrue on day one, and more.The starting salary for this position is $3,900 per month. Summary of Work
As a Community Corrections Agent II you will perform office management, clerical and reception duties. Oversee Interstate Compact cases and be knowledgeable with the process and rules of Interstate Compact. Assess and supervise low risk and diversion cases, prepare and maintain caseload records.You will develop and maintain offender supervision plans and monitor offender compliance.You will conduct drug testing, fingerprinting, DNA testingand assist with maintenance of SCRAM alcohol monitoring program. You will assist with and monitor collection of court costs, fines, fees, restitutionand with transportation and body searches of clients.You will Interact with the judicial system and various agencies to assist with the rehabilitation of peopleon parole or probation.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or GED and three years of work experience directly interacting with people in a correctional, law enforcement, education, business or behavioral health setting.College coursework in a behavioral science, education, business or field related to the duties of the position may substitute for the work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
