Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position in California requiring current CA RN licensure, recent travel nursing experience, and AHA BLS / ACLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Cath Lab of a hospital setting
  • Four 10-hour day shifts per week, 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 45 PM
  • Call required once per week and one weekend every five weeks
  • Required to float to ICU, SDU, or Tele units within skillset and may occasionally float to other locations as needed
  • Uses EPIC EMR for all documentation
  • Must complete a Cath Lab RN skills checklist
  • Team members may float to units at or below their skill level depending on staffing needs
  • Return staff must have a 1-year gap before being eligible to return
  • Return travelers may not return for 1 year after the end of previous assignment
  • Extension policy allows a maximum of 1 year before requiring a 1-year break
  • International nurses must have 1 year of recent or current U.S. experience
  • Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed; no new time off after initial approval
  • Adherence to the hospital’s dress code and Cath Lab protocols is required

  • Active CA RN license in hand at time of consideration (no EMSA)
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 1.5 years of continuous Cath Lab RN experience with no breaks in specialty
  • At least 1 year total and 6 months continuous recent travel RN experience with no significant gaps
  • Recent EPIC or combined EPIC / Cerner EMR experience within the last 6 months
  • Must provide a supervisory reference and valid copies of required certifications
  • Must reside outside a 100-mile radius from the facility
  • Interview availability is required
