Lakeland University, a liberal arts institution, seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach multiple courses in Communication beginning in the spring, 2026 term and beyond.

Location : Online

Examples of Classes :

COM 130 : Introduction to Mass Media

COM 220 : Persuasion & Advocacy

COM 310 : Leadership Communication

COM 332 : Media Literacy and Effects

COM 365 : Health Behavior Communication

Schedule : Online Classes with Virtual Evening Sessions once a week from 6 : 00 – 9 : 00 p.m.

Term Dates : January 20 – April 20

Qualifications :

Candidates should possess, at minimum, a master's degree in communication or a relevant field and relevant teaching experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Teach undergraduate courses in communication.
  • Work with full-time faculty and deans to understand and employ activities that meet course learning objectives.
  • Administer and / or develop coursework (assignments, projects, in-class learning activities, exams) that meets and assesses course learning objectives.
  • Respond in a timely manner to calls or emails from students, colleagues, or supervisors.
  • Use university technology as directed.
