Job description

About the Job

Opportunity awaits if you're interested in working for yourself as an independent contractor. Mobile Wellness Solutions is looking for a part-time Mobile Phlebotomist.

Job Details :

  • The candidate / phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, urine, EKG's and medical history
  • The candidate will travel to the patient's location for appointments.
  • Paid per appointment / event, this is not an hourly or salary-paid position.
  • Bi-Weekly Pay.
  • Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the appointment.

Responsibilities :

  • Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples above as required.
  • Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
  • Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
  • Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKG's, medical history
  • Accurately labeling all samples
  • Maintaining accurate patient records, which include detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Proven experienced phlebotomist.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid Auto Insurance
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills.
  • Knowledge regarding HIPAA / PHI law
  • Detail-oriented / sound organizational skills.
  • Professional, responsible and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
  • Must be computer proficient, have internet access and a printer / scanner : to print, scan and upload completed documents.
