About The Position

Certifications : NIHSS, ACLS, BLS

Must-Have : ICU and PCU experience

Description :

Our unit will be taking ICU overflow.

All candidates must have 2+ years of ICU experience along with PCU experience.

Shifts are 3x12 days from 7 AM to 7 : 30 PM, every other weekend and holidays as needed.

This is a dual level of care unit, handling telemetry, PCU, and ICU cases.

The unit is recognized as a primary stroke center.

The unit size includes 25 beds.

Expected ratios for all shifts are 1 : 5-6 on the floor side, 1 : 3 for PCU, and 1 : 2 for ICU.

The cases seen include chest pain, strokes, respiratory failure, and sepsis.
