Right at Home of Norfolk, Nebraska is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and empathetic individual that enjoys improving the quality of life for others. Duties may include transferring client(s) out of bed, transferring into wheelchairs, assisting with commode, getting ready for the day, assisting with showering, helping with any light duty chores if needed, and possible meal preparation. The largest responsibility of this job is to provide outstanding companionship and great company during these trying times!

• CURRENTLY : During this time we are able to conduct virtual interviews and trainings from the safety of your own home through use of Facetime and Zoom with very quick turnaround times!

Essential Functions : Provides companionship for the client, accompanying them to an appointment, on a walk, trips to social / recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc. Light housekeeping- vacuuming, dusting sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning. Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions. May shop for groceries. Provides supervision of safety for all activities of daily living, for example, bathing, dressing transfers, and ambulation.

Qualifications : High school diploma or GED, Reliable transportation, Valid drivers license, Valid automobile insurance, Authorization to work in the United States, Ability to demonstrate an excellent work ethic
