Our team is working closely with the Holy Spirit Medical Center Behavioral Health team and the Penn State Health Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health to ensure a smooth and coordinated transition . SUMMARY OF POSITION : The Outpatient RN provides direct patient care, administers medications, educates, collaborates, and counsels patients and families. The Outpatient Registered Nurse assesses physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients and families. The nurse will maintain accurate, detailed reports and records and record patient’ medical information and vital signs. The RN will consult and coordinator with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) : Associate’s degree in Nursing Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact. Basic Life Support (BLS) PA Act 31 Child Abuse Training Certificate. WHY PENN STATE HEALTH?
