Job Summary and Qualifications

Qualifications :

  • Minimum Education : Graduation from a Nuclear Medicine training program.
  • Experience : A minimum of 2 years working as a nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital setting.
  • Completion of ongoing training specific to the patient population.
  • Required Licenses and Certifications :

  • One of the following : ARRT (R), ARRT (N), ARRT (T), or NMTCB.
  • Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Department of Health.
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervising personnel and ensuring effective planning and operations within the section.
  • Leading meetings that promote teamwork and open communication.
  • Maintaining equipment and service records; coordinating with vendors for optimal operation.
  • Analyzing necessary data to identify issues and formulate solutions.
  • Utilizing resources efficiently to maintain department productivity standards.
  • Additional Role Responsibilities :

  • May handle radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as necessary.
  • Deliver exemplary customer service aligned with our facility's mission and vision.
  • Participate and comply with safety policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to the organization's Code of Conduct and report any compliance issues.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.
