Job Title : PSA Engineer – Network Transmission

Location : Melbourne, FL or Bellevue, WA (Remote)

Employment Type : Contract

Contract Duration : Long Term

Visa : H1B (on our payroll only) / USC / GC

Note : No OPT, CPT, or H4 EAD

Job Summary :

Seeking an experienced Power Systems Applications Engineer – Network Transmission with expertise in Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Transmission EMS. The ideal candidate will develop and deliver advanced EMS solutions, ensuring efficient, reliable power transmission operations.

Responsibilities :

  • & & & & & & & Design, develop, and customize Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Transmission Network Applications.
  • & & & & & & & Work on Load Flow, Contingency Analysis, and Power Factor modules for transmission systems.
  • & & & & & & & Perform coding, testing, and integration using C++, Java, and SQL / Oracle.
  • & & & & & & & Configure and maintain Linux / Windows environments, including patch installations and software updates.
  • & & & & & & & Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues on real-time or mission-critical systems.
  • & & & & & & & Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and system stability.

Required Skills :

  • & & & & & & & 6–8 years of experience in Power Systems or EMS development.
  • & & & & & & & 5+ years in Transmission EMS or Power Systems Applications implementation.
  • & & & & & & & Proficiency in C, C++, Java, SQL / Oracle, and OOPs concepts.
  • & & & & & & & Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows, shell scripting, and version control tools (GitHub, ClearCase).
  • & & & & & & & Proven experience with real-time systems and troubleshooting.
  • & & & & & & & Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EEE) or Power Systems; Ph.D. preferred.
