Patient Population : OB patients >

20 weeks gestation

Patient Ratios : 1 : 2 (L&D); 1 : 2-3 (OB Triage- contingent on OB patient acuity, phase of care and census)

Number of Beds : 10 L&D rooms, 2 OB Triage

Department Specifics : Fast-paced, positive teamwork, collaboration intra and interdisciplinary, good communication, accountable, flexible, open minded to problem solve in patient care, supportive of a culture of safety.

Registered Nurse Requirements

18mo / 1.5yr of experience in Labor and Delivery, preferably at level III or higher

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

License / Certification

RN – Registered Nurse

BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program (required within 30 days of hire)

AWHONN intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (required within 30 days of hire)
