Join our dynamic team as an Interventional Cardiologist! We are looking for a dedicated physician to provide essential consultative care in both ambulatory practices and skilled nursing facilities. Collaborate with innovative wound care teams to enhance limb preservation and optimize wound healing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct on-site consultations and follow-up visits for patients in skilled nursing facilities and hospitals across the service area.
- Provide expert interpretation of noninvasive vascular studies, including arterial and venous duplex ultrasound, ankle brachial index, toe brachial index, pulse volume recordings, and other related physiologic tests.
- Perform critical endovascular procedures, such as revascularization for critical limb ischemia, diagnostic angiography, angioplasty, stenting, and atherectomy as needed.
- Execute thrombectomy and thrombolysis for acute limb ischemia.
- Expertly handle below-the-knee and pedal loop interventions, as well as endovascular treatment of chronic total occlusions (CTOs) and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS).
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation of clinical encounters in the electronic health record to meet medical necessity, coding, and payer requirements.
- Participate actively in interdisciplinary care planning with wound care teams to facilitate optimal wound healing and limb salvage.
- Adhere to sterile techniques, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards for all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Travel between facilities and procedure locations as scheduled.
Schedule and Practice Settings :
Full-time weekday work with minimal on-call requirements and no weekend commitments. Clinical responsibilities include facility rounding, noninvasive study interpretation, and endovascular procedures in diverse settings such as outpatient practices, skilled nursing facilities, an office-based lab, and an ambulatory surgery center.Team Support :

MD or DO with completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.Board certification in Interventional Cardiology.RPVI certification is preferred.Unrestricted New Jersey and New York medical licenses or eligibility for obtaining them.DEA and New Jersey CDS registration or eligibility.Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with CMS coverage and compliance regulations.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regional travel.Preferred Attributes :
