Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1.5 years of hospital experience and BLS certification to work day shifts and float between CT and RI facilities.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Short-term acute care hospital and Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds
  • Day shifts, 5x8 hours, with start times between 7 : 00 AM and 10 : 00 AM
  • Every weekend and holiday coverage required as needed by the department
  • Required to float between hospital locations in Connecticut and Rhode Island
  • Patient population and cases typical of a Level III trauma center
  • Experience with GE CT equipment required
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • Must complete one hour of pre-start online modules and annual training as required
  • Flu vaccine is required without exception
  • COVID vaccine and booster required, with medical or religious exemptions considered
  • Candidates must be willing to participate in emergency response activities as needed
  • Return staff must be gone two years to return as travelers
  • No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius, unless applying as a CT Tech and agreeable to local rates
  • Up to seven days of requested time off may be auto-approved

  • Minimum 1.5 years of recent CT hospital experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • GE CT equipment experience required
  • CT state license and RI state license required, with ability to start with one while the other is pending; license required if applicable
  • Reference required for consideration
