Case Mix : Includes General Surgery, Endoscopy, Vascular, OB, Orthopedic, Bariatric Surgery, and UroGynecology. Note : No hearts, neurosurgery, or thoracic cases. Hospital Setting : The role is based in a hospital setting with CRNA supervision by one physician for every three CRNAs. Procedures : Spinal epidurals are required. Experience with a low volume of pediatric cases is expected. Delivery Volume : Approximately 100 deliveries per month, with a low epidural rate due to a large midwifery program. The cesarean section rate is around 15%. Credentialing and Licensing : Credentialing Timeframe : 2-3 months, with expedited processing available for candidates with an active New York license.
