• Work 3x12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday from 9 : 00 PM to 9 : 00 AM with variable start times
• Patient ratio of 1 : 2
• Rotate primarily between PACU and pre / post interventional radiology area within PACU unit
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call requirement of 24 hours per 6-week schedule period as needed
• Float within service line to meet facility needs
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-timers accepted
• No weekend requirements (nights, call, or weekends not required but may be available)
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, Vents, IV start, Telemetry
• PACU and critical care experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must pass Relias EKG exam
• Navy scrubs required
• Manage complicated postoperative patients including multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia
• Care for surgical patients from GU, GYN, Colorectal, minimally invasive procedures, Bariatric, and some ENT procedures
• Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
