Applicants that do not meet these requirements will not be considered. We are seeking an experienced Facilities Specialist to join our growing team. The Facilities Specialist role is a hands-on position that will work on site within our Princeton, NJ locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair, including performing minor repairs and troubleshooting, of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and mechanical infrastructure
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce downtime
• Work with company and property management to develop and implement facility management strategies to include preventive maintenance programs and conduct routine safety inspections
• Plan and implement renovation, expansion, and relocation projects while managing vendor relationships
• Create and control maintenance and facility budgets, prepare regular financial, and operational reports for leadership
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws
• Supervise facility contractors and service providers
• Support business continuity by responding promptly to facility emergencies or service interruptions
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance schedules, inventory, tools, and supplies
• Assists with stocking snacks and supplies as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills.
