Our team is expanding and looking to add a Controls Engineer. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.

The Controls Engineer will directly work on developing / designing / troubleshooting electrical / pneumatic / and hydraulic control systems on existing and new machinery. Development of schematics, sequence of operations, and programming from concept to commissioning will be required. Other responsibilities include :

• Design / Development / Troubleshooting and implementation of electrical / pneumatic / hydraulic systems
• Identifying new technologies and components
• Hands-on troubleshooting and improvement of automated painting line, controls, lifts, conveyors, TNV, chiller, etc
• Availability and willingness for afterhours support of downtime in critical cells
• Ability to train coworkers in industrial controls
• Improvement of existing control systems on individual machines and work cells
• Troubleshooting and repair to electrical systems, PLC, vision, robotics, etc
• Work with engineers to develop poke-yoke sensors and solutions resulting from corrective actions
• Other duties as assigned
