Location : Minneapolis, MN (near downtown)

Compensation : $53,000– $60,000

Schedule : Split shift, approximately 10 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM

Summary :

We are seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) for Patient Transport to learn and grow into a leadership role overseeing a team of Patient Flow Coordinators and Transporters within a hospital environment. This program is designed for individuals with leadership potential who want to gain hands-on management experience while ensuring safe, efficient patient movement and compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Learn to supervise Patient Flow Coordinators, Dispatchers, Transporters, and other support staff.
• Gain expertise in dispatcher logic and transporter activity to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Assist in coordinating transportation services across hospital departments.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, JCAHO, OSHA, and CDC standards.
• Participate in training, orientation, and development of patient transport staff.
• Support leadership in managing departmental budgets, expenses, and financial objectives.
• Learn best practices in infection control, body mechanics, and safe patient handling.
• Take on other duties as assigned to prepare for a future leadership role.
