POSITION OVERVIEW

Milliken & Company, a global leader in innovation across chemicals, healthcare, textiles, and flooring, is seeking a visionary Vice President of Global Sourcing. This executive will spearhead the establishment of a centralized sourcing strategy, ensure best practices and standardization while maintaining a high level of customer focus. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership capabilities, strategic acumen, and a proven track record in global sourcing and procurement. This new position reports directly to the Executive Vice President, Operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership :

Develop and implement a comprehensive global sourcing strategy across all of Milliken : chemical, healthcare, textile, and flooring.

• Align sourcing objectives with overall company goals, driving cost efficiencies, quality improvements, and innovation.

Centralization and Standardization :

Establish a centralized sourcing function to standardize processes, policies, and procedures.

Vendor Management :

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors globally.

Operational Excellence :

Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the sourcing function.

Team Leadership :

Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing global sourcing team.

Customer Focus :

Ensure sourcing strategies align with customer needs and expectations.

Financial Management :

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the sourcing function.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

With at least 5 years in a Global Sourcing role
