Psychiatric APP, Pediatric Crisis Center Part Time

About this role :

We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to work with our team of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals committed to providing quality pediatric behavioral healthcare in a brand-new pediatric Crisis Center. The Crisis Center will be opening in September 2025 as part of Primary Childrens Behavioral Health Center in Taylorsville, Utah.The center will be the first walk-in crisis assessment center for youth in the state of Utah. In addition to providing 24-7 access to evidence-based crisis assessments, the center will also provide observations beds for youth and families that need additional time to stabilize.

Part Time, This Pediatric PMHNP will generally take two 12-hour shifts per week, which will include some days, nights, weekends, and holidays.They will be responsible for providing medical screening exams, psychiatric consultation, admission and discharges.

What youll bring :

• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) OR

Board certification as a Physician Assistant, with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Psychiatry (CAQ-Psych)
